This ticket and refund policy was developed to respect the amount of work and production value behind ElleLui events, both by producers and talent. This ticket policy supports the long-term health and stability of ElleLui and the practices outlined in the mission statement.

ElleLui offers multiple different types of tickets – a combination of:

1. Online presale usually oriented toward QTBIPOC;
2. General online sale;
3. A set number of reservable pay-what-you-can (PWYC) tickets oriented towards people experiencing long-term or temporary financial challenges;
4. A set number of free, reservable tickets for Indigenous people; and
5. Regular-price door tickets.

online ticket sales (options 1 and 2):

For all online ticket sales, you can choose to purchase a refundable ticket by selecting the $2.00 Flex Ticket Add-On at checkout. By selecting this option, you will be eligible to receive a refund on the value of any and all tickets within this transaction, up to 24 hours prior to the event.  Having purchased the Flex Ticket add-on, simply email [email protected], up to 24 hours prior to the event and we will process your refund (the value of your tickets, excluding the $2.00 Flex Ticket add-on) within 2-5 business days. We are unable to process refunds within 24 hours of the event, or for tickets purchased without the Flex add-on.

Reservable PWYC tickets (option 3):

Reservable PWYC tickets are always refundable, for any reason. We will process your refund within 2-5 business days. To reserve a PWYC ticket, email [email protected], and we will provide you with an access code. No questions asked. Priority for PWYC tickets go to people of marginalized identities, although anyone can request one. You may request multiple tickets.

Door tickets (option 5):

Door tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to venue capacity. We can accept credit, interac, or cash payments at the venue. Door tickets are non-refundable.

Ticket Resales: 

Tickets are valid if re-sold and we encourage the sale or transfer of ElleLui tickets. Whenever possible, we will support your efforts to resell your ticket. The most effective way we have found so far is by tagging @elleluimtl in an Instagram story advertising your ticket, and we will repost it on our stories to the best of our capacity. 

Beware of scalpers and scammers – ElleLui does not take responsibility for funds lost due to ticket reselling, scalping, scamming, etc. 

a note on refunds: 

ElleLui will process refunds within 2-5 business days of receiving your request. Please note that your bank or card issuer may take up to 10 business days to process the refund once received. ElleLui is unable to accelerate this processing time.
