About ElleLui

ElleLui is a Tiohti:áke/Montreal-based production collective creating Lesbian, Queer & Trans-oriented events. Our events aim to strengthen inter- and intra-community bonds while prioritizing representation and fair compensation within entertainment and nightlife.

Our Mission

ElleLui strives to create vibrant Lesbian, Queer & Trans-oriented spaces while fostering inter- and intra-community connection, pleasure, and prosperity.

In practicing this mission, ElleLui’s coordinators take responsibility to create and facilitate safe, informed, and fun events curated for the lesbian+queer community, by:

  1. Partnering with safe and accommodating venues and venue-owners;
  2. Ensuring that QTBIPOC artists are prioritized, adequately represented, and compensated accordingly in talent acquisition for all events;
  3. Collaborating with QTBIPOC producers and organizers on event production wherever possible;
  4. Adding accommodations and prioritizing accessibility wherever possible; and
  5. Supporting the participation and representation of marginalized groups in the audience through tiered ticket prices and ticket prioritization.

Land Acknowledgement

The organizers of this event acknowledge that we are on the traditional territory of the Kanien`kehà:ka. The Kanien`kehà:ka are the keepers of the Eastern Door of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. The island called “Montreal” is known as Tiohià:ke in the language of the Kanien`kehà:ka and has historically been a meeting place for many First Nations. The organizers acknowledge that living and hosting events on this land is a privilege, and we encourage those participating in the event to get informed and educated, and to actively reject colonialism and neo-colonialism in the many forms it takes.

Lucia Winter, Co-Founder & Producer

Lucia (they/she) is 1/3 of the producers of ElleLui and an emerging Tioti:áke/Montreal DJ. Originally from New York, their style is characterized by synth, bass, sexiness, and silliness. They believe that experiencing pleasure on the dance floor is powerful for building a sense of personal identity and one-ness within community

Ray Resvick, Producer

Local loud-talker Ray Resvick (they/he) is a comedian, storyteller, erotic/burlesque performer & community organizer. A funny slut obsessed with slutty fun, Ray’s artistic endeavours aim to liberate sensuality and self-expression from the binds of cis-heteronormativity and to make a bag being hot and playful. Their event production is fuelled by a deep gratitude for community, support for Indigenous sovereignty & Black liberation, and a belief that we’ve got to take care of each other. When not doing all that stuff, Ray likes writing stories, sharing dreamy meals with friends and reorganizing their tupperware drawer.
